Mission 1
Our first mission is simple, to protect our Grandchildren from the harmful chemicals that are in, on, and around them.
For those of us who are over 55, it is hard to remember any friends from our youth who had psychologists, psychiatrists, ADHD, Autism, etc., or, who were popping prescribed pills as if they were going out of style. Today, it is more the norm than not.
There are learned schools of thought that believe, and are linking, many of the issues that young people have today with what has been in, on, or around their bodies since they were born.
Mission 1
Mission 1 is supported by Enlightened Soil Corp, a company that was founded with the purpose of removing harmful chemicals from our soils, watersheds, foods, and people. When Stuart Williams (the CEO of ESC) became a Grandparent, he chose to help support a movement of his peers that would work with their local governments, HOA leaders, and school boards to use Made in America Ensoil Turf, that is chemical free, works better than synthetic chemical infused fertilizer, and saves money.

As a father of 6 and a grandfather of 7 I would simply say the following:
If a governing body is equipped with a solution to remove dangerous and harmful chemicals from any green spaces they are responsible for, with a safe, natural, and cost effective product, and they chose not to make a change, then they should be held liable for any damages or harm caused by the use of chemicals.

Chemicals cause cancer and a merit of other diseases and negative health issues and do not need to be is our soils where our food is grown, on our playing fields and civic green spaces or in the watershed or food we eat, especially when we have natural organic chemical free alternatives that are cheaper and work better!

As a grandparent, my hope is that our public green spaces and sports fields be physically safe and nourishing to people, as well as aesthetically pleasing by removing toxic input chemicals that can only accomplish the latter at a great cost to human health and our environment. It does not have to be this way.
Grandchild to "Tutu"

I am lucky enough to still have my grandma who was a nurse and has always been educated on eating organic food to stay healthy. I call her Tutu, which is Hawaiian for grandma.
As a cancer survivor and farmer, Tutu knows all too well about the potential dangers of harmful chemicals. I am now passing on this knowledge to my own children and advocating for a safer environment for them. Tutu is now cancer free and loving life on the farm at age 89.

When my first grandchild was born, I couldn't believe the rush of joy that washed over me. Since then I have been gifted with a total of five beautiful grandchildren who love splashing in the waves of our coastline, running and climbing at our local parks, and helping out at the farm. The only place I can be sure that these children, who are our future, are not swimming or running or climbing in a synthetic chemically treated environment is at the farm. Over three years ago Iron Horse Farm moved away from common fertilizers and moved towards the future with EnSoil Algae. I love my family too much not to look out for their future.
